"It was a hotel by the airport, so we didn’t expect much- especially with how little we paid. But honestly, it was a pretty great hotel. Wonderfullly friendly staff, great renovations, access to drinks/snacks/coffee, and THE MOST comfortable mattress I’ve stayed on in a hotel is years. Will definitely choose this place again. Area around the hotel was typical airport iffy. And the old furniture from the previous renovation was stacked outside the window. But overall, you couldn’t beat it for the price paid and the sleep we got on that mattress. "

"The staff was very, very cordial, professional, and fun! Really only two things would be considered negatives. Our room had a distinctly strange odor. We were told that it had been recently remodeled and that may account for it. (Also, we had to get a waste basket from the front desk. There was none in the room when we checked in.) The room itself was very nice. The other negative was the area of the city. I know there's nothing that could be done about that but it seemed very...industrial and somewhat blighted. Also, despite the 85 degree temperatures, the pool was closed. We booked our group specifically for a pool. Disappointing. That said, the staff was wonderful, personable and helpful. We stayed up late talking in the lobby both nights and it was very comfortable there! Despite those negatives, I would probably stay again, mostly due to the staff and the congenial atmosphere they create! Kudos to management on being excellent hosts!"
