"Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. "The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"There was no stay. After paying up-front for the room and I phoned in the afternoon to say I was at a dining function and I would be late. When I arrived at 11:30PM the guard refused me entry and said that they were full. So I give this a rotten service and demand my money back. These people are thieves and I wish to lay a complain with the police. Do not think of even staying here!"
