"We had a two bedroom villa which was very spacious and tidy, plenty of room for a group or family. The pool area is very dated and bar near pool was closed during the busy Christmas/ NY period which was disappointing. There is not enough staff which impacted service and don't bother calling reception from your room as it just rings out. We were in a villa close to the main area but if you happen to get a further one expect to be walking up and down hills. We had thought there was an adult only...

"Lovely stay at voco Kirkton Park! We stayed here for one night on a quick trip to the Hunter Valley, and wish we could stay longer. The hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and views, and kangaroos bouncing around the property. Very comfortable room and the breakfast is well worth it! Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"We just spent a night here and the Convent is beautiful. Lovely surroundings, nice pool and a lovely comfy room opening out onto a lovely shared balcony with comfy seats. Breakfast was good and our waitress was super nice and attentive. Getting a local taxi in the evening was tricky so just be aware that the well known online ride share company does have taxis in the Hunter Valley! "

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft cottage. It was lovely and spacious, comfy beds (although I would suggest bringing own pillow). The garden's were lovely and nice pools. The tv in our cottage was in a strange position, ie not in front of the lounges which was a bit frustrating to watch. The restaurant was also being renovated during our stay so no-where to eat but there was a range of courtesy buses available to pubs etc. But all up nice place to stay. "
