I needed a hotel in this area and this is really the only one around. It is an older hotel and it shows, but it was still comfortable and clean. Breakfast was quite nice and there were lots of options (Russian options, not Western).

Zuerst das Positive: das Haus ist sauber. Es liegt günstig in der Nähe gegenüber des Filjowski-Parks. In fussläufiger Nähe gibt es Bushaltestellen (M2 direkt zur Lenin Bibliothek) und die Metro (10 Min. zu laufen). Das Haus ist alt. Das gilt sowohl für die Immobilie als auch für das Mobiliar. WLan funktioniert nicht mit Geräten, die kein Funknetz haben. Das Frühstück ist gelinde gesagt eine Frechheit. Der Service miserabel. Leider habe ich auch kein Café gefunden, dass vor 10.00 Uhr geöffnet hat. Mittag-/Abendessen in der näheren Umgebung ist vielseitig möglich. Es gibt im Umkreis von 1 km einige nette und gute Restaurants. Schwierig ist allerdings, dass eine Karte in englischer Sprache offenbar nicht oft genug nachgefragt wird. Daneben gibt es einige Supermärkte und einen Bauernmarkt.
