"Overall nice property and wonderful stay, hotel was clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, perfect location near university with plenty of parking and dining options nearby. A fantastic brunch at in house restaurant. Im a hokie parent so signed up for the parent club so ill definitely return. Dropped 1 star only because color theme, fixtures and furnishings are somewhat dated "

"The property is older so do not expect to be a typical hotel, but then what hotel has a wood burning fireplace in the rooms and deer walking around in front of your porch. Food and drinks were good and a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature. Easy drive to Blacksburg for VA Tech games."
