"Lynda was amazing with her communication and getting us set up in the cottage. She had the fridge set with milk, juice and yogurt. There was a fresh loaf of soda bread waiting for us when we arrived with jams and butter. The cottage is exactly as described online and beautifully maintained. Sheep, chickens and dogs are on the property, making it seem even more cozy. The property is very secure behind a gate with code for easy access. This is the best of Ireland, so don’t miss a stay here. "

"Other reviews are perfect examples of this place. Was so nice, so clean and comfortable for our young kids and grandparents. Layout of the house is great. And they have the best toys for children. Jim and Annie were great hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. "

"James was the consummate host. While the unit could be called country cottage simple, the welcome was all one might expect in the form of warm Irish hospitality. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves. "The hotel is modern and stylish but not too upmarket. The room has a good, hard bed; the area is quiet, a little further away from the centre of the town and it allows decent sleep. The breakfast is very good if you pay for it.. ( it’s worth the money ) .. The kitchen is a good standard, and, there’s a bar. It’s a very good hotel, believe!!"

Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand

"Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand. The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. It would be ideal for working from, as there is a large desk. There is is a desk infront of a mirror for doing makeup, too - does not always happen in hotels! Huge selection at the breakfast buffet - only one small change there - better sausages :) Added bonus - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi! Would definitley stay there again if in Limerick!"

Wonderful stay

"My family had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was lovely. Staff extremely friendly. Only thing I would say is the showers in female changing rooms in the swimming pool should have shower gel in the containers in the cubicles "

Very pleasant stay

"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay. Can't recommend enough. "
