"Nice lakefront property with a great backyard area. Host is responsive and pleasant. The home itself has a great layout for different families or couples across different floors. Some of the furniture is rustic which we enjoyed, for those seeking that aesthetic, but the dinning room bench and chairs were slightly too rustic and loose/lacking in padding for me. Beyond that, the view from the house and patio is excellent. This is a great property to visit in any season."

"Lovely spot. Just surprised that there were no cups, no paper towels or tea towels. No amenities whatsoever. We brought our own coffee maker but could not enjoy a morning coffee. Would love to come back but if you’re traveling you need to bring your own dishes. Weird "

"We had an amazing weekend. Clean, lake front, great fishing off the dock; watch out for the pike we put up a great fight, and accommodating, with enmities in short distance. Would definitely bring the fam again next year. "

"My husband and I do a trip with another couple every fall. It’s a chance for us to get caught up with one another, cook together, play cards, relax and just enjoy the beauty of the season. This location offers it all! The kitchen is very well set up, there was nothing we needed that it didn’t have. The bathrooms are lovely and the bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely come again!"

The host was so great with communication and made sure we were able to get in and didn’t need anything else. I loved the little binder of FYIs about the cottage - made it easy for us. "Nice location and great access to bala groceries and shops. Nice little beach. Nice kayaks, older paddle boat, and shallow water for little kids. Cottage is aging and kept up well. Pillows, linens, and beds are basic and adequate. Great air conditioning. Small washer and dryer was a must for two little kids. Host took a while to respond to messages and there were no checkout instructions, even after sending a message, other than depart by 1100 from the checkin message v"

"This lakeside home was perfectly appointed for our family - we were pre-celebrating my mom's 90th birthday so we had my brother's family and my family stay together for the week - and we could not have asked for anything better. The younger adults had their own space downstairs to hang around and play ping pong and the "older" group had the gracious living room upstairs. Plenty of beds for sleeping, kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery etc. and the home had all the bells and whistles!!...

"The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay."

"Three generation of our family really enjoyed our cottage stay. The cottage was well appionted, the access to the lake was easy for all ages and the outdoor space amazing. We only had one rainy day which took us into Gravenhurst for their great famers market; wonderful straberries and corn! Cara was a very attentive host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definetly recommend Richview to other families."
