"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "We were very late driving from far away and they called us to see if we were coming. Great communication. Our check-in was a couple of minutes and our cabin was toasty warm and clean. Plenty of room to park our vehicle and trailer also. Perfect setting just outside of town and close enough to everything. This is our second time here and it was just as nice as the first time in the summer. "
