"This is perhaps the best hotel in the Hualien area, with a top-notch new facility and close proximity to the Taroko National Park which unfortunately was severely damaged by the earthquake on 4/3/2024. The menu and food quality in the restaurant was much to our liking and to our delight, reasonably priced for dinner. Beach was a short stroll away."

"The location is not far from the train station so that was great. The hotel itself is ok. I’ve noticed most hotels in Taiwan never seem to clean the windows so it looks dirty. Glass elevator looks dirty because the windows are so dirty. Same with the windows in the breakfast room which is too bad as there is a nice view. "We had an amazing relaxing, calming stay at Sophia’s property. It was sparkling clean, well thought out and Sophia drove us to her favourite restaurants for lunch and dinner and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Couldn’t ask for better service! Plus breakfast was delicious, highly recommend staying with Sophia. We stayed a couple weeks after the earthquake and the property is very safe and has no damage."
