A lovely modern home in the woods filled with windows and sunlight with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and a large wraparound deck facing a feisty stream. It has 10 beautiful acres of woods to wander on crisscrossing paths. Unplug and enjoy its large inspiring kitchen and lofty spaces stocked with albums, movies, books, art supplies, and instruments. It is a short 10-minute drive to outdoor adventures on the Delaware River and Sullivan county's hot spots including Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Bethel Woods Arts Center, Skinners Falls, gambling in Monticello and so much more. Enjoy antiquing, fishing, hunting, tubing, rafting, gambling, skiing, farmers markets - or do nothing but relax on the deck and wander in our delightful woods with a stream that never ceases to delight.

A beautiful getaway

Comfortable, well-equipped home for a getaway
My husband and I had a great getaway in this comfortable, attractive, and well equipped home. The setting is pretty and private (our dog loved zipping around and sniffing) and close to little towns and nice hikes/walks.

Quaint Homey Get Away
The house is quirky in a fun way. Very neat, loved all the views. We saw so much wildlife, from deer to turkey. Easy drive to many places. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again.

Our small family gathered for the inaugural Catbird Music Festival and the cabin’s location was ideal! But it’s comfort level made our stay relaxed, with indoor and outdoor lounge areas. Highly recommend this spot, checkin & checkout were super easy!

The home and property are very nice. It's somewhat secluded but in a great location - near the Delaware River and close to some very nice small towns. The house is very pleasant and comfortable. The owner is very nice to deal with. We would stay here again.

Short Xmas Visit
My wife, and I stayed here for a long weekend over Xmas. Everything in the house was as advertised on the VRBO posting. The kitchen is well supplied and the house is well heated for the winter. The bed is very comfortable. There is some nice hiking nearby. We both enjoyed the stay as did our dog.

Beautiful home in a private and relaxing setting.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was great location as a base for day tripping to all the area has to offer. Owner was very communicative when contacted and although we kow the area pretty well, he had some great suggestions for some we had not yet discovered. Don't pass up a chance to grab a bite at the Cochecton Fire House!

We Had An Amazing Time!!!
This was everything we wanted our vacation to be. The cabin was amazing and literally in the middle of the forrest. We were close to both Narrowsburg and Callicoon, so shopping and eating out were options, but it was nice to just stay at the cabin and use the kitchen, grill, and fire pit. We especially enjoyed booking our devices up to the Bluetooth speakers and listening to music while we relaxed in nature. Chris was always a message away if we had any questions about the cabin. We can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Peaceful in a perfect setting
Our Thanksgiving celebration at Chris’s cozy and delightful cabin gave us even more to be thankful for. The cabin was clean and the kitchen well equipped for cooking up a festive feast. The nearby stream was both beautiful to look at and soothing to listen to. Beds were comfortable and the woodsy ambiance was exactly what we hoped for and needed. Overall, a great experience!

Peaceful retreat
It’s a nice house surrounded by woods and ferns. We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and the host was good at communicating with us both in advance and during our stay. Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave, with prolonged extremely high temperatures unusual for the area/season, and one of the bedrooms was too hot to sleep in (air conditioner unit is in the living area & didn’t reach that room). However, that was the fault of the heat-dome weather & not the house. The house was equipped with everything we needed and we appreciated being able to bring our pets.
