"The property was a good deal at the discounted price that I paid .i.e, $50.00 for one night. It's more like a very good motel than a hotel. All said, the room was clean and newer and the staff was friendly and helpfull. I would go again if I needed a room near the airport. Its a 20min walk to the airport or a 5 minute taxi ride. Also, some decent dining and cafes in the immediate vicinity."

"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"It was a very quaint apartment with a patio in the front and the back. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to stay! "

"It was a fantastic stay! Pros:- - The property is new and stylish. - Staffs are friendly and helpful, particularly Olga.
