"Really lovely older hotel in beautiful setting in small town of castle connell -quiet and idyllic. However, without a car, reliance on train was hard since limited service to/from limerick. There did appear to be a bus between limerick and castle connell, but hard to confirm times. Hotel also had adjoining fitness ctr with gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi- really great with late/early hrs. Town had limited restaurants, but hotel had restaurant. There also was a grocery in town with beer...
