We had the loveliest stay in this Bohemian gem. It is perfectly situated just outside town in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. You have two walking options to get to shops and restaurants: a direct 12-ish minute jaunt across sidewalks or a meandering 45-ish minute lope through the woods. Both are delightful, though I would not recommend the latter at night! The cottage itself is thoughtfully & tastefully decorated with original art and helpful amenities, such as a stovetop espresso maker, hair dryer and extra blankets. But bring your own toiletries, other than soap/body wash. We spent lazy mornings reading by the couch with coffee, before setting off for the day. If it had been warmer outside, we would have been on the deck overlooking the gulch. We look forward to returning another time for another stay!

This property wasn't available when we got there! At 10:30pm we had to find another place to stay. There was no lock box or key as we were told there would be. We contacted Vrbo and they were unable to reach the host!

Peaceful Place in Nature with Squirrels and a Beautiful Bobcat!
I loved it here because it is peaceful and everything I needed was right here and also close to Grass Valley and Nevada City. Parking is excellent and it is just a short walk a bit downhill along a path to where you stay. The deck out back is secluded and very pretty. Established trails down to Deer Creek are a few steps down the dead end road. A lovely and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are great.

Great place!
This property was exactly what we were looking for! It was adorable and the back patio was perfect. I would definitely stay again. Hiking right outside the back door and Deer Creek right down below the property with amazing. I highly recommend!

Beautiful location and cottage!
Highly recommend this little detached cottage! Adorable little private walkway, perfect back deck where we could see and hear the river water flowing downstream. Nice pedestrian pathway from their street to downtown for breakfast, shopping, drinks, pizza. Updated layout, furniture, decor in mid century modern/artsy/eclectic. Would stay again for sure!

Was in town for a wedding found out that much of the wedding party is actually staying there on Jordan Street so made it easy when we would need to get together. The cottage itself was very very peaceful love sitting on the back deck enjoy listening to the creek behind the cottage, perfect for one person
