Property was fairly clean, but very dated. While hotel is very centrally located, it seems to not be in a very safe area. Loud car traffic and frequent sirens throughout the night, which could be heard on the 9th floor. The registration staff and bistro staff were not welcoming. At check in, the staff member scanned my credit card with no welcome or direction on hotel amenities and could not answer specific questions. At the bistro, no welcome, thank you, etc. For the purpose of our stay, the hotel served its basic purpose but was by no means exceptional.

It bothers me that I had to pay for parking in the garage because the hotel has no parking lot. Not that $15 is a lot for parking, it is just that there is no mention of it when booking. Other than that everything was good.

Good location. Great, great Italian Resturant. The hotel was almost empty of guests. Staff were even scarcer. No luggage or car handling. My wife is 83 i am 82 we are both legally and really handicapped. One woman staff lady at the desk was really cheerfully helpful. A great example of good service. Food service for the room was just not up to marriotts standard. Getting coffee in the morning was a slow and very difficult task. Rooms clearly show their age and usage. We did manage to get the heat up in the room to a satisfactory temperature. Noise level in our fourth floor room was very bad. Street level generated noise was very high and unacceptable until after 4 am. I take responsibility for making this choice. Will check very carefully in the future. I stayed in Marriott properties for over 30 years and never had a broken electric light switch cover or any of the other issues we experienced here. Marriott would be wise to convert the place to condo’s. The Resturant and repurposed public areas in to lower level would attract buyers.

There was no one at the front desk when we checked in. When we entered our room we noticed we needed toilet paper but when I called the front desk, no one answered the phone. When I ordered eggs and a bagel the next morning the food was not hot. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.
