Upon entering, a beautiful clean smell in the lobby, elevator and hallways. Quick check in. Overall great one night stay. However, the shower head was coming out of the wall slightly and needed a little work. Also, breakfast was NOT included and looked like the typical complimentary breakfast. We have stayed here before but for some reason the phone rang at random at least three times during the night. That never happened when staying here before. Very clean and safe and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Property was very clean and staff very friendly. Nice lobby area for meetings. Our refrigerator in the room did not work. We reported it to front desk but never heard anything and it never worked. We reported it again at checkout.

The room was spacious but run down & outdated furniture and decor. Televisions are old and UNsmart with a big, cumbersome remote control. The desk staff was unfriendly; the girl didn’t even look up when handing us a fork from her drawer - she never got off the phone. Breakfast was super expensive ($17 for dry uncooked breakfast) but the bartender Tina was super sweet. Heated pool was a nice feature in the dead of a CT winter. Place really needs a fresh update.

There were problems at check in (delays with the computer system) that the manager did not handle well and was very short and rude with the customers ahead of me in line. When it got to my turn I asked if he was the posted name of the manager on duty, since he was not wearing a tame tag. He said he was not. I then asked him his name and only then did he tell me. His attitude changed at that point; there was absolutely no need for him to behave so unprofessionally to customers checking in before I asked his name: no one waiting to check in was complaining and we were all very patient with the check in as we could see they were having problems The facility is very clean and well-equipped. My only recommendation is to skip the breakfast—they charge A LOT for what other hotels serve as their complimentary breakfast—the usual reconstituted eggs, microwaved sausage and bacon, and various defrosted breads and packaged muffins and cold cereal. You can find a much better breakfast much cheaper at any local restaurant. You can get eggs/omelettes cooked to order for an additional fee.

I was unsure of the quality given that it seemed somewhat remote and I had never stayed in Wallingford. I was there for a Homecoming weekend for my university and it was the closest hotel. The parking was easy, the front desk staff was very thorough, nice and quick to check-in. The only thing I didn't like, was the breakfast. It was more expensive than it needed to be. The ad says it is free, but what they fail to mention is that it is only free for special members. I think Diamond and Platinum? It was a buffet, so it was one price ($15 on average) and then beverages were separate. My only advice when you stay here is to read the fine print. Otherwise, I would stay here again.
