Our room was too warm and we could not get it cooled off. They said someone in engineering was going to look into it but the problem never got corrected and I received no feedback. Also I requested additional coffee packets for the in room coffee maker and never got them. Poor service for what I paid for that room.

The property is going to be renovated early January due to being closed throughout covid many things were not working like the heat in our room this is how I learned about this. We were freezing knowing this they should tell you before you stay here. They provided a small heater but I was not happy sleeping in the cold. The toilet seat was also broken otherwise the location is perfect to walk everywhere and go right out into the NYC Times Square experience!

When we checked in, they gave us a room that was already occupied . Thankfully, no one was there. But I’d be pretty upset if someone walked in on me or my things. The next room was ok but had to let the water run for about 5-10 minutes because it looked brown. Not the best place I’ve ever stayed!

"My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Crown Plaza Times Square! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access to Times Square was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in NYC/Times Square. I’ll definitely be back!"

Paid for a package for “breakfast” and it’s indeed not a full breakfast and it’s very misleading. You get a voucher for a pastry or something similar with a drink .. not worth the extra that was paid. Between the hotel and parking company they’re scammers. The website and Expedia stated the parking was $75 a night when we got there the parking attendant said it was $90 a night, went back to confront the front desk I was then told it was $85 a night and that Expedia needed to update their site umm it’s your website too that stated this information. The attendant then said bc we got a package we would only pay $65 a night. When we checked out we were charged almost $200 for parking the attendant sent us back upstairs to figure things out and bc we had to wait they tried to charge us for an additional 45 mins of parking! There is no in and out privilege either which is BS. The elevators barely worked and at times we waited 15 mins for the elevator. The rooms had wall paper peeling off the walls, rust stains on the floor, the HVAC makes a noise that doesn’t stop, the toilet barely flushed, stains on the towels, we also paid for a Times Square view and didn’t get that. This entire stay was thee worst and I WILL NEVER stay at this old property ever again. Also paying a resort fee to stay here is insane. For what we paid to stay here we could’ve stayed elsewhere with better service and accommodations! I would like to speak to someone with Expedia regarding my experience!
