This was our first time staying at this hotel… It definitely will not be the last!! We’d like to stay in this area because it is walkable to the theaters, but not in the middle of Times Square. Upon checking in, we were promptly greeted and felt appreciated and so welcome to be there!! Their staff was so friendly and being just “checking” you in. We have stayed in several hotels in this area over the 20 years we have been visiting NYC, plus have recommended hotels to friends and family. Dream Midtown is now going to be an only hotel we visit and our top recommendation to friends!! Good Job Dream👏👏👏

Room fridge didn’t work, but it was ok. Bed comfy and clean. Concierge and hotel desk staff were amazing and so helpful. Having a subway station just a few feet away was so convenient and probably the reason we will go back. We could hear sirens and street noise, but we wore ear plugs to sleep and had no issues. Worst part was other guests smoking weed in their rooms which has nothing to do with the hotel, just made it smelly for those of us who do not partake. And waiting for the elevator because one is reserved at night only for rooftop bar and not paying hotel guests is absurd. Absolutely recommend private car transport offered at desk back to airport. It was stress free and much better than cab service because it’s a set rate!

Check in was quick and easy. At check out there was a $276 mistake on my bill. I had to prove that they were charges which had already been paid, but when I did the charges were taken off immediately. Even though the carpet in my room may have been vacuumed it was so old and worn that it looked filthy. I did not put my bare feet on it. Also, it was very cold in NYC when we were there and the windows in the room don't block any of the cold. In addition to the bed coverings I slept with my winter coat over me. Turning the thermostat up was somewhat helpful, but it was working against the cold coming off the windows. The self closing doors are adjusted such that there's no way to quietly close them and they're loud enough to wake you up every time someone comes back to their room late at night or leaves early in the morning. The bathroom was superb with beautiful new tile and high end fixtures and toilets. Maybe Hyatt is in the process of refurbishing the rooms. Location was perfect for us, staff was thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable.

First time to stay at this location. Have stayed in other area hotels, but liked this too. We will be back. However, wished the room windows had a darkening option. Billboard lighting was quite bright at night which made sleeping difficult.

It was very loud - definitely an older property with older windows. There are fridges and such in the room but they’re all turned off. Also no coffee makers in the room - have to ask ahead. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

The staff was super nice and welcoming. They upgraded me to a bigger room at no cost. They were super kind and on top of things. The room was clean and spacious but the lighting was not the best. Design was interesting, not my taste. Overall, great hotel!

First day checkin was wonderful, after that there seemed to be no staff in the lobby. My son and Aiden would have our arms full and no one rushed over to get the door. Had to go into the restaurant to get a bucket of ice? At times had to stand at the bar and wait for ice. Didn’t like that. Also thought this was supposed to be a kid friendly hotel didn’t really get that vibe at all. From the terrace bar. I don’t know I had higher expectations. Huge plus the beds were super comfortable.
