Don’t hesitate booking this hotel! After staying at different establishments over the years.. The Moore proved to be a standout… great location… quiet and calm but still close to the action of midtown … cosy bed and awesome shower! Staff are wonderful.. polite and attentive, super friendly and accommodating house keeping staff that do a wonderful job! Definitely will be staying here again!

The rooms are tiny. I stayed by my self w/no luggage. I don’t think two people w/ bags would fit. The $40 resort fee is crap. There is no coffee maker in the rooms. The neighborhood is great! The staff are lovely and the room was very clean!

Great location and a really tidy hotel. Would happily stay again. The daily coffee and pastry was a great start to the day. Staff were always v helpful and happy. A couple of small things I’d tweak, the duvet is in between two flat sheets which is quite annoying to sleep in. The toiletries didn’t get restocked when empty and water glasses weren’t changed. But overall a great hotel for location and price.

Rooms were tiny, but very clean and otherwise comfortable. We didn't like how dark the elevator and hallways were. A bit noisy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We received a bottle of wine for being Expedia VIP, but we didn't drink it, We were not offered a room upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay at The Moore. It's in a great spot next to a lot of great food (highly recommend Dim Sum Chelsea), and the staff was really nice. However, 2 things stood out to me to drop it to a 4-star experience instead of 5 stars. They claim all the beds in their hotel are Queen beds, and I dont believe that's true from my experience sleeping on a Queen bed at home. Either these are full beds, or NY calls a smaller bed a Queen bed. But at home my feet are never at the edge of the bed/hanging off, and they were here. And then the other issue was the AC - the thermostat would read that it was 67 degrees (or whatever the lowest temp allowed was), so we couldnt get the room any cooler. But theres just no way it was actually that cool in there. Perhaps because there's no fan in the room, the stagnant air made it feel much warmer, I'm not sure. But it definitely kept me up a few nights until the room finally would cool down. I dont mean for it to only sound negative, we did enjoy our stay. But those 2 things definitely impacted my time and I think are worth sharing.

The Moore is a charming hotel located in the heart of Chelsea. The room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and stylish. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Amazing location on a very pretty tree lined street. Our room was good but could have benefitted from having two smaller side tables as opposed to one larger one. It meant that one of us had nowhere to put our phone and personal items. I liked the token system and having a coffee bar downstairs. Great pastries! I appreciate that this was not necessarily the hotel’s problem but someone or something had been through the garbage bags put out outside the hotel on the sidewalk for garbage day and the garbage was strewn all over the sidewalk. It was like this for the period of our stay (3 days). I don’t know whose responsibility it was to have this cleared up but it certainly wasn’t pleasant stepping out of the front doors of the hotel every morning to see it.
