"One night only but was out for most of the evening. Dined in the restaurant where service was prompt up to main course as we arrived after 9pm and ‘the kitchen was closing’. "This is a well kept place. Very nice. Beautiful grounds. I came a bit late and they were so forgiving. Breakfast was very nice too. This is a old manor house that been converted to a hotel. I loved it."

"Parkhouse B&B is incredibly well located to both Bunratty Castle and the Shannon Airport. In fact, it is right down the street from Bunratty Castle. Our host and hostess were so welcoming and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep before catching our flight home the next day. Fresh fruit, home-baked brown bread, and a choice of a hot breakfast plus a large pot of coffee rounded out our stay. Highly recommended!"

"The staff was very kind and accommodating. The premises was quiet and smelled very nice. My sink did have a leak, the tile of the bathtub was falling off, and my trash cans already had trash in them. But honestly, I’d just stayed in a hostel and was thrilled to have a room to myself."

"This home was located in a very quiet, well kept neighborhood. Easy to locate with easy parking. The only downside was the bed sizes, they were a bit small for 2 people to sleep on together. Otherwise a cozy home in a great area!"

"We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property."
