Loved this place. The location is amazing and is walkable to the CliffsWalk, downtown Newport, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. To boot, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and again.

We had an excellent stay in the Lark suite and the host Peter was super helpful! The room was incredibly clean, the hotel is in a great location and the daily breakfast with pastries, frittatas, and smoothies was such a nice treat! Will definitely be back.

The Attwater has everything you could want in an inn - modern bathrooms and decor, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, free parking, and it is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our spacious King suite (on the 3rd floor) had wood floors, a mini fridge, and a gas fireplace in a separate sitting area. The mansions, Cliff Walk, and Thames Street are a short drive away. (All are within walking distance too). The Inn keeper(s) do everything in their power to ensure check-in is easy and your stay is comfortable. Be sure to do the Ocean Drive loop and stop at Picnic or Cru Cafe for lunch.
