"This cabin was great. Awesome location, so much to do in the area and on the surrounding land. The Wabash trail and Tiffin River are right out the back door. The house is very well equipped for all cooking. Great living area with plenty of seating and comfortable beds. We will certainly be back!"

"I grew up in Defiance, OH as did my spouse. We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH."

"The water did not work for the majority of the time. It was fixed once on the first day which resulted in muddy/ dirty water but that was short lived as the water promptly went out within the next day and a half. They could not get anyone out to come repair the water again. Not to mention the dryer did not work. We were told that someone would be out to replace/ repair but that never happened. Expedia should be ashamed for continuing to list this property after being told that it was not...

"We couldnt get in or get ahold of owner at check in time, so we couldnt cancel before check in time. Home is in a bad neighborhood. Kitchen cabinets full of junk and pans etc were nasty. Fridge was dirty and mildew in freezer. Bedroom1 pillows were brown and old. Bedroom 2 there was saw dust all over the bed and there was either mold, or bug feces onbox springs. Bedroom 3 had no sheets on the bedand stains all over pillows. There was no heat coming into any of the bedrooms. There was snow and...
