"Beautiful views over the Pacific Ocean in the open air onsen, would definitely recommend for that alone. Easily accessible by train from Nagoya city centre, however the train station has one bus (and no taxi stand) to the resort every couple of hours so organise ahead. For foreign tourists; the staff speak little English but try to be helpful!"

Which meant although we booked for an infant and requested a cot, the hotel did not provide one and the room was too small for our travel cot. We also contacted them by email after stay when we left something in the room the hotel but again no response to emails in English and Japanese to arrange for us to retrieve it."

"Property is old but probably still the best hotel in the area. Heater in room was difficult to maintain consistent temperature. Room furnishings are dated and some are damaged. The public bath, sauna and other relaxation offerings are nice. However, when it comes to amenities of any kind forget it. All you get is a toothbrush and q tips. The hotel is directly across the street from Mikawa Anjo Tokaido line Shinkansen station. Not many restaurants in the area. Lastly, no tattoos in public bath....
