"Rooms starting to show their age. No shelf space in the bathroom and very little space around the basin. Pillows too soft. Sofa beds do not make comfortable couches in a "deluxe suite" No toasters in the rooms and the excuse for this is not acceptable. Restaurant at the Governors is overrated. Breakfast in the dining space is very good but the staff are all young backpackers who would rather be somewhere else. If location is of paramount importance this is a go-to destination, otherwise, assess...

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!"

"This property is well situated for walking into town for meals and shopping. It is a little tired,the showers don't work to well, but the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to self cater, and the beds were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful."
