"Everything was perfect until landed with a £60 bill for parking for 2 days. This was not noted in any of the constant emails sent out by the hotel."

"Beautifully presented although it looked as if room accessibility for disabled guests could be an issue. Unfortunately the hotel had a big black tie dinner on the night I stayed and therefore the kitchen closed earlier than I could get there so was unable to order food. Had an offer to provide crockery etc. if I wanted to order in but felt less than totally friendly."

"Was comofortable. Everyone who worked there was lovely. I was above the games room and one of the nights. It was really loud. So much so that i couldnt hear the tv. You could hear eveybody coming through the door downstairs and in the corridor. The room was nice. A lot of resident ladybirds. Bed had sagged in the middle. Neverrheless. The price was reasonable. The service was excellent and rhe room was comfortable. "

"Great location, lovely building, our cozy double was very comfortable and dog vera welcomed and catered for. Only negative comment tv wasn’t connecting . Didn’t request assistance as only one night stay. A radio provided could have made up for it. Staff hiwever lovely and helpful. Food delicious."

"Pub is lovely, great atmosphere, outdoor winter seating was cosy and a real selling point. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. It could have done with a more powerful shower. Slightly disappointed as didn't realise we would be staying away from the pub. We were waiting just over an hour to check in because our room wasn't ready. Booked in for breakfast for half 9, unfortunately by the time we had had our cooked breakfast we went to get pastries...

"Basic but spotlessly clean. Good for a short stay where all I needed was bed and breakfast. My only complaint was that I was not warned that parking was restricted (on Saturdays as well as weekdays) and I got a ticket. Not really their fault, but maybe something to note."
