"This lake house is absolutely everything you would expect from a five star rated home. It is a newly renovated lake front home. The house is located about 3 miles north of Ludlow. The property was clean and well maintained. We visited on Columbus Day weekend for our daughter’s wedding. We will return some day in the summer to enjoy the lake. "Cute property minutes from VT and an easy drive to Castleton to visit our college student. Very clean property and loved the immediate hot water. Kitchen was also fully stocked with supplies. Only suggestion would be to put a larger more comfy couch in living room as the small couch was hard and too tiny for husband and i to sit together. Otherwise, a great stay and would definitely book again. "

"Our family had a wonderful week at Camp Happy! Everything we needed was there. Outside, we spent the days using the SUPs, kayaks, Lily Pad float. We relaxed on the deck for countless hours, along with the other lounging areas. There was ample room at the docks for our boat rental and fishing. I do want to note that if old, the many steps from the house are steep. My 83 year old mom managed them fine, but we usually helped her. She really loved sitting up on the deck overseeing the activities...

There's plenty to do within a short distance ... so many little businesses and beautiful places to explore! Very quiet, we slept very well in our comfortable bed! I took many morning strolls, such a pretty little area!"
