"Loved the location. Close to everything. They even offer free transport to gold Pavillion temple And the bamboo forest. Saved our family of 5 about $30 and headaches of finding the buses and stops, transfers etc. they pick up at the hotel and drop off near the sites. Book it as soon as you book the hotel so you can plan your travel. Also, ask about comp like free water or free breakfast if you don’t use their cleaning service or the bathrobes/slippers. "

"We stayed in the family room and it was perfect for four of us. The sofa bed was essentially a real bed. Very comfortable key and clean . Very spacious with a little sitting area. Not much space for putting clothes away for four. Nicely located and easy walking to many places . Very safe. The style is a little old but it is so well kept it doesn’t matter. Lovely garden out the window of the lobby. Staff is very nice and helpful. Free bikes to borrow is a nice touch."

"Hotel was located within the shopping street and needed walking from nearby stations. Also within walking distance to the pontocho alley. for sightseeing, you would need to walk to the crowded bus stop. Room was considered spacious by normal Japanese standards but it was also more expensive during the Sakura season. There is a special bathtub with sit down area for shower. Overall, convenient but on the pricey side for 4 star hotel. There is also an additional accommodation tax. "
