"It's nice to have a room surrounded by nature, and breakfast was good with variety of choices and lots of birds around, felt very relaxing. Our reservation covered 2 breakfast, so we just had to pay $9 for the extra person (we are a family of 3). The only thing I would complain was the walls are thin, so if you have a noisy neighbor, you can hear everything. But this was not the hotel's fault. "Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. "Loved this place. Room could have been cleaner but overall the property is well kept, has beautiful scenery, and peaceful. Located next to good restaurants and walking around feels safe at night. Staff is great especially Alonzo. Be mindful that since you are immersed in nature there will be a decent number of bugs coming to visit you outside and inside. "

"This hotel looked amazing in the photos, which hardly did the spot justice. There was a garden in the center of the property with a pool and patio area and many exotic plants.
