Who leaves one biscuit for two guests? Central heating did not work even when turning up thermostat. Someone previously had been smoking in the room as the area outside of the window was full of cigarette butts. Reception not there when we arrived, had to phone to get someone to come. Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a journey. Delightful place. Would thoroughly recommend.
