"This is an exceptional property, but even better service. Lori and Ginny were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. The breakfast and vibe of the space is fantastic. They also provide a lot of education about the house and area and truly care about keeping the history alive, and that pride shows clearly in how well the place is loved. The bed and room is very comfortable and well designed, and the common areas are beautifully renovated."

There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. "The house is great but it needs a little upkeep. New throw rugs and upholstery cleaned. The beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable but the cleaning crew should be fired. The rest of the house wasn't very clean. There was even a pair of men's underwear on the deck from a previous guest. The location was perfect though."
