"Old style hotel with a large room right next to university campus. The only downside there are not a lot of dining options around."

"I wanted a hotel with a pool, and with breakfast included. The pool was a good size and temperature, and the hot tub was soothing after a long day of walking. Embassy Suites serves the best hotel breakfasts I have had, with made to order omelets, and a good selection of other items. The coffee is very good. The dining area is in a big, open atrium, which was a little chilly. The location was excellent in that I could get to a Metro Station and a Whole Foods via the underground parking garage. There are restaurants nearby, too. I left my car in the garage for four nights, which cost me $100. I took the Metro in to DC to do my sightseeing. "

"This was my second time staying at the Madison hotel. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The location was walkable to many attractions and restaurants. I will stay here again the next time I'm visiting D.C."
