"This cabin is delightful. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning kept up with 90+ degree days and 80 degree nights! I couldn't find any sugar for tea but the sausages left by the hosts were delicious. My only regret was being unable to eat the homemade chocolate chip cookies left by the host (allergy. ) i would definitely stay there again!"

"We stayed at this property for the week of University of Delaware’s graduation. It was perfect, about a 15 minute drive from Newark, in a very nice neighborhood. The house was in a lovely wooded area near a creek, where we were able to take walks in the neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable and the host, Raymond, made it easy. I would highly recommend."

"We stayed at this great location for a few days looking to have a peaceful getaway and it did not disappoint. The cottage was so beautiful inside and the location provided a gorgeous view of the bay. We enjoyed a private cottage overlook deck where we could see boats on the bay, watch amazing sunsets, and even saw some Bald Eagles and other bird wildlife! The cottage was charming and we had a very enjoyable time!"

"Great little place for an overnight stay. The cottage is as cute as can be. It’s on the same property close to the main house but is private enough. Sure, no running water and the shower is tiny but it was a fun, cozy cottage. Totally worth the stay and the riverside bar/restaurant in Port Deposit was fantastic as well as a pub along the Main Street. Live music at both places. Thanks for hosting us!"

"The house looks just like the photos. Everything was neat and clean and the property was perfect for our young children. They loved the bunk beds and playing in the pond and we even had a chance to play with the fireflies all around the yard on our last night. If we ever came up this way again, we’d definitely book with this property."

"Beautiful quaint property with many amenities and very close to downtown Lancaster and Tanger outlets while maintaining the authentic Amish charm. The hosts were super friendly. The family dog, Ellie, was super sweet and greeted us every day while playing outside. There is a lot to do that don't require screens, so it provided a nice break from the technology dominated lives we all live these days. Everything was ad advertised. "It was me, my son and my sister staying. The grounds were beautiful, and we fed the goats too! It was late season, so no pool or any relaxing outdoors. Brrr. Traffic is light in the area so it was easy to get in a 2+ mile walk and see the local neighborhoods. As it was mentioned in the listing (but not obvious in the photos), you have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom, and the door to the upstairs bath doesn't offer total privacy.
