"The property was in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Im not used to neighbors as close as they were but it was a quiet neighborhood which we tried to maintain also. The house was well appointed with most everything you'd need to prepare a meal, just be sure to purchase cooking spray and plastic wrap or tin foil if they are going to be needed. And definitely don't attempt the driveway from a right hand turn, being there I can see why those instructions are given. "

"Absolutely loved my stay here. I was looking for a nice place to escape from everything and this was perfect! Beautiful views of the deck, and on the beach, and even driving to the house. Super clean and simply, yet perfectly decorated. Stocked with anything you could need. Very responsive and helpful hosts, and clear directions listed. I would strongly recommend visiting this beautiful, quaint island and staying at the Huckleberry!"

Although you aren't completely secluded from neighbors it still felt very private, and all the details were well-explained and exactly as advertised. One thing to keep in mind about the location is that it is pretty far from a real grocery store. This isn't a problem at all, just requires more planning ahead."

"The property is beautiful and we had a pleasant stay, but there are a handful of notes that would have turned this into a 5-star experience: 1) The property features two queen size beds and one twin bed. All of the mattresses are STIFF. Not firm, STIFF. We had some pretty rough nights on these. If you can't replace the mattresses, at least include some plush mattress covers. 2) The top tier balcony was off-limits, with P-touch stickers on the door demanding guests not open it. "The property was lovely, and access to the beach from the backyard... priceless. Loved the ability to bring our pup along for the weekend. Great views and beautiful sunsets. A few things could use a little TLC, and the listing updated to reflect. Also a note that the septic system has a bit of an offputting sulfur smell, but totally appreciated the hot/cold water filter provided. "
