We had originally booked for one of their cabins. When we checked in it was 35 degrees outside and high winds! Our cabins heater did not work after 30 mins of trying and waiting for it to work per management’s suggestions we were still only getting cold air from the heat that would constantly switch off every 3 mins.. we did manage to get switched to another room but we’re not compensated for the room price difference, the new room was very noisy and there was peeling wallpaper and mold in the bathroom and you could see where they had painted over the old mold and it was growing through and on top of the paint. Several rooms we walked past smelled of weed and the floors in the bathroom we so Sticky you couldn’t and didn’t want to walk barefoot on them. The shower pressure was fine but the water would switch from hot to cold every few seconds… I would not recommended this place ever to anyone coming in from town.

Could be a lot better with some simple upkeep. Caulking in bathroom was either dirty or moldy. Some of the continental breakfast tasted stale. Heater was either on or off, was not automated.On the other hand the bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean .

Cabin C we stayed was very old and dirty. Hair everywhere in the bathroom and mold. Not sure how they passed health inspections. I would not stay there again.

The room was clean and served its purpose but was not the experience I was hoping for. It is old and dated and is in Oak Harbor, the part of the island that does not feel special or make you feel like you are visiting an island. The bed is pretty bad, it wobbles on the little metal frame and squeaks every time you move, the linens are motel grade, and there is mildew in the grout in the shower. Bathroom needs a deep clean and new caulking. If you just looking for inexpensive place to sleep, this will do. If hoping to explore island charm and see Whidbey beaches, stay in Coupeville.

There were not enough outlets to plug in a CPap and the one outlet by the bed was falling out of the wall. The bathrooms were dirty and the room smelled like someone over cleaned.

Quaint themed accommodation that was very comfortable for the night. The bathroom tiles (grout) could use an upgrade and perhaps some new caulking around the tub, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Very attractive room with fun window decor.
