"Hotel staff in any and all positions appeared extremely friendly and service oriented. Distance to the ski slopes is a marginal 50M or so. Hotel management pays attention to details. Breakfast and dinners in restaurant are diverse and of excellent quality. Not all serving staff may be fluent in either German or English, however, all are eager to overcome any shortcomings with enthusiasm and a very positive attitude. "Perfect walue for money, breath taking environment. I would warmly recommend to any one."

"There was no shades on the roof window, nor a cloth to wash yourself with. Reception was gone after 7 pm and no telephone or alarm to wake you. The pillows were totally flat or so stuffed with foam that you could not sleep. The toilette was separate from the sink. Address states Unteraunern when in fact this is in Obertauern 10 km further!"

"Wow and wow and again wow!! The best hotel I have ever been to. We were with our 2 children and everyone had a great time. A hotel that is simply a paradise for children. We will definitely go back there again! Delicious food especially in the morning and evening, kind and excellent service, a great indoor pool, a playground for all ages, there is always something to do and many attractions near the hotel or within a short drive. We had an extraordinary experience! Highly recommend!"

"Our stay at Alpina Wagrain was one of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve ever had. The property is nestled between mountain ranges, offering breathtaking panoramic views. I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of the view from our bedroom window. However, what truly stood out to us was the exceptional attitude of the staff. As a family-owned hotel, they have a remarkable way of caring for their guests. We were there for hiking, and they took the time to help us with hiking routes and even recommended a great restaurant. The people are absolutely amazing—they truly understand hospitality, and it’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast selection. As vegetarians, we were thrilled with the variety of options available. There was an abundance of fresh fruit, Alpro yogurts, and a selection of healthy seeds—it was heaven for us. The coffee was also delicious. We would love to return to Alpina Wagrain in the future. We deeply appreciate their hospitality and the wonderful food offerings."
