"First experience was honestly not good, but once I found the right person to talk to, we had a great time. Lovely apartment with hot tub on the balcony, sea view, good facilities in the kitchenette, superb customer service (second time around anyway!). "We enjoyed our stay at Ona Valle Romano. There are a number of self catering apartments with reception and 2 restaurants. We were very happy with our apartment which had a good balcony overlooking the golf course. We did not have any meals but breakfast and evening meals are provided. The WiFi worked well, although there was only one channel on the TV in English. Good hot water. There is free parking outside the accommodation, only problem is later in the evening it is difficult to find a spot."

"Location on beach front next coffee shops, restaurants beach activities and closeness to old town. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't like that the property charged me $3/night for using the safe inside the unit. Also, if you happen to be driving a car, dropping luggage off at property on such a busy street before knowing where to park can be very challenging."

"Lovely clean spacious apartment. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedding/towels changed every 3 days. Staff friendly and helpful (2 issues which were both fixed within a couple of hours). Pool area clean and plenty of sun beds. Apartments near train station and Mercadona. 5/10 mins walk to beach and restaurants/pubs/shops etc. "

Location is great and there is a bus that takes you into Fuengirola town, but also there is a big supermarket next to the hotel and a Lidl down the road. "Ideally located hotel for beach,walking and dining. We had a 1 bed apt which was perfect...loads of storage space, fully kitted kitchen and spotlessly clean. Excellent value. Will definetly return next year. If I had one suggestion and its very small we would have liked water and coffee pods left for the first night,especially if you are arriving late. "

"From the booking the communication was great. They contacted me closer to the time with tons of information, directions, passwords, how to get into resort, parking available etc. Everything was covered. The apartment was clean and new. "I was not happy that this huge resort that was almost empty ( low season of November / floods) and yet I was assigned a room that had a door separating it from the next one ( junior suite) occupied by family with little kids. Annoyed little with noise. I would have complained but noise stopped around 9:00 PM which was bearable. The staff were very friendly. "

"Fantastic pet friendly hotel. Really welcoming staff who went beyond. Loved the location, choice of restaurants In walking distance. Ease of parking the car. We opted for the underground car park but there was parking on the roads nearby. Will definitely visit again. Loved the dog spa room as well. "

Lovely stay, lovely setting just out of Fuengirola

The hotel is very large made up of lots of sections with a free train bus at certain times to get around. We walked all over and it’s a very well kept lovely looking resort. We had an apartment on 2 floors with 2 bedrooms, garden patio with sun loungers that backed onto pool. There was also jacuzzi. There were about 4-5 restaurants and bars and some shops on site. The apartment was clean, comfy, and could house 6 people as had a very comfy double sofa bed also. Had a hi fi with Bluetooth connectivity and tv with many English channels and sports etc. WiFi free throughout and your own private WiFi in your apartment also free. WiFi was always fast. Kitchen has cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine and all facilities you’d need. Staff were all lovely and always say hello. Grounds and garden are beautiful. Bus stop out front of resort but we liked walking along beach/seafront. First bars etc after 15 mins but to get to the centre is about 35 mins walk. Getting to hotel was easy. Got train to fuengirola from Malaga and then taxi from train station. Train to was about 3 euros. Taxi about 12 euros from fuengirola station to hotel. Too hilly to walk with case. All in all had a great stay and will definitely return. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a junior suite and really liked the room. The room was facing the sea, comfortable and no disturbances from other guests. The only negative was the tv kept turning itself on in the middle of the night and seemed to have a mind of its own! No biggie. Highly recommend the rooftop bar this was fantastic! Wellness room is also great! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location! About half way between Los Boliches and Fuengirola, so you get the best of both. We travelled in November and the majority of the guests were over 65, so the evening bar entertainment was mainly for them. This didn’t bother us as there is so many bars and restaurants all around to choose from. We had self catering. "
