I found the staff welcoming and very friendly. I enjoyed my evening meal and breakfast. The room was very nice and I really enjoyed the deep bath. I did not like the bright green light that came from a box mounted on the ceiling. It was very bright and I had to arrange my pillows in such a way to block it out in order to sleep. I prefer a darker room to sleep in. Apart from that everything was lovely.

Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Decor and environment was superb but a little tired in places. Rooms were very hot. Spa was too busy to use when wanted.
