"We had a lovely time at the Tiger Inn East Dean celebrating my friends birthday. The room was cosy and very pretty, it had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and hot which we enjoyed. The breakfast was great neither of us needed lunch after it. The village of East Dean is charming and has many original features. We ate dinner at the Tiger Inn and had a lunch at Hikers Rest. We didn't have time to visit the Thai restaurant that we heard was good or the deli cafe."

Spacious room with comfortable bed, ensuite bath/shower (very powerful shower, which was great) teat & coffee making, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, bottled water, etc, as you would expect. "The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...
