Old Town Historic District Holidays

The property itself was nice looking, although you could clearly see the facility was a once fancy, but aging property. Steps were broken, and rooms had clear signs of wear and tear that were masked by touch ups. Unfortunately, not even the touch up work in areas was cleaned properly. The elevators broke and also the fire alarm went off falsely early one morning. Lastly, the turn into the lot from the opposing traffic lane is dangerous. The turn lane is literally 10-20 feet past where it should be to actually turn left right into the lot. Instead, you are turning but having to somewhat turn around to angle into the entrance. However, staff was excellent, friendly, and accommodating. Especially my waitress and bar tender.

The check-in process for me was fairly smooth overall but I did see others struggling with their check in for a variety of reasons. However, the parking situation was a bit challenging. Since the assigned parking space required a fob, it wasn’t accessible until my check-in time, which caused some inconvenience. While security staff were helpful in finding a temporary solution it is important to note that you may not be able to park early.

Staff are incredibly friendly and rooms are serviced very quickly and to a very high standard. The Moretti restaurant is expensive and unreliable for room service as they can’t be bothered to pick up the phone

Our family of 3 loved this condo that was lovely and convenient to excellent restaurants within walking distance and a huge mall right across the street. Loved the use of the exercise facilities. Will stay here again on our next Toronto trip.

Service was as great as last time!
