"Really lovely place to stay. Very friendly lady checked us in and showed us our room (street view but only stayed for 1 night, would probably do sea view if staying longer). Could still use terrace overlooking the beach, if you wanter. Room was very modern and well equipped, lovely comfortable bed. "

"Lovely warm welcome. Beautiful stay, all very high spec appliances and furniture and well equipped. Stayed in Room 201, which was huge and came a hot tub and great view. Breakfast was very good. Robes and slippers available for use of pool or spa facilities. Within walking distance to airport but very peaceful. Within easy access by key tourist points by taxi/ car - free carpark on site. Bar & Pool open until 22:00. Lovely lounge with TV and board games. Such a great stay."

"Basic accommodation. Needs a mirror in the room, a little more heating in the rooms during the winter months, terrace wasn't as beautiful as what it shows in the photo. Beds were so comfy and cosy!"

"Fab 4 day trip. Really loved the freedom of self check in/keypad entry. Stayed on ground floor, Room 1. It was clean and spacious. Found the fridge very handy. On the top floor the pool area was spotless and very private. Would stay again. Highly recommend."

"Miguel was extremely helpful at the reception. His English was excellent. We were able to store our bags in a safe location while we waited for an early checkin. The Historic region of Faro was a short walk away with shops, restaurants, historical buildings to visit. The room was small but updated with a comfortable bed. The community kitchen allows us to store and prepare food. I highly recommend this Guest house."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a room for three which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent, each member was friendly and ensured that our needs were met. Parking was on the street, it was free and within close proximity to the guest house. I definitely recommend a stay."

"Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Theres a delicious inexpensive restaurant right across the street. Other restaurants you can walk to as well, and the town is perfect and not too crowded and overrun, like some of the other Algarve areas. The beach and Algar Seco are approx 10minutes walk away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice terrace just outside the room. The room is Nicely updated and attractive looking....

"This property was absolutely lovely. We booked late on our night of arrival, past 11pm, and the owner, Gino, was waiting for us when we got there. Our room was cozy, and comfortable, but the star of the show were the three private balconies outside. "This is not a hotel. The description on Expedia was very misleading. When we booked a deluxe room we thought it was a hotel but in actual fact it was a room in a shared apartment wihin a very private residential block. "We booked the last room expecting shared bathrooms and ended up with a large suite with a private bathroom. Not much interaction with staff, but the were friendly, it’s a little far from old town, (15 minute walk) but was quite charming. Located in a residential area. Breakfast was bread, cereal, nada, fruit. The rooms were charming and clean. "

"Porto Bay Falesia is a beautiful property is a great location for accessing various areas of The Algarve. Our stay involved only one issue (Rm 296) with a leak from the A/C which was a fall risk concern. Maintenance staff quickly assessed and left, and we were offered another room but it was 8 pm and weren't prepared to relocate at that time. The carpet was dry the next day but didn't allow us to turn on the A/C. Otherwise, the stay was perfect!"
