The hotel front desk staff were super friendly, and went above and beyond with a warm welcome when we arrived late on the first night. Only a 10min walk to a very well stocked local supermarket and many excellent local restaurants in Olhos dÁgua. The apartment was clean and spacious, and although a complimentary bottle of water was provided, it could do with a cafetiere/coffee machine (especially as complimentary tea, coffee, oil and salt/pepper is not provided). "We had a two bedroom suite at the Residences. Hotel is beautiful but it is very spread out. To go to beach and main hotel building you need to take a shuttle which you may need to wait for 15-20 minutes. For a 5 star resort service was a bit spotty. We had a mishap at breakfast- was told we can do a la cart instead of buffet but ended up waiting for 1 hour to get eggs which was ridiculous. This hotel is also outside of Albufeira so location is not super convenient - you have to drive to town. "
