"The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"

"Our group had a couple of unfortunate events upon our arrival and exit were all completely smoothed over by Aaron and his team through near instant communication and attention to detail that made our stay the enjoyable and memorable experience it was. The place is 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor that made easy access to everything. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. When you have a host willing to go above and beyond, the VRBO vacations are all the better!"

"Absolutely loved being on Somes Pond in this home. Everything was wonderful - clean, spacious, linens and kitchen fully stocked. This is a peaceful location yet close to everything you want to do in Acadia and Bar Harbor. We definitely will be returning. Large home with plenty of space and spectacular view. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again! "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "Good location to shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast and had gluten free options. Gf muffin and protein bar. Breakfast had eggs, sausages, ham, breads, cereal, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, drinks. Lots! The room was clean. The shower pressure was good but the water was not hot. Warm at best and after 3 or 4 minutes in the shower it got cold. The bed was harder than i normally am used to, but adequate pillows and blankets. I never watched the tv so not sure what channel selection was like....
