The property was beautiful and very clean! The access to the pool was amazing and we loved receiving the warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. The only downside was the dining options were not the best and were overpriced.

Right from the jump we landed and got to the hotel at noon and they claim the room isn’t ready. For a two tower hotel I think that’s a little ridiculous but ok not a big deal. Waited 2 hours for them to text us and let us know the room was ready. Upon checking in the informed us parking would be 33 dollars a day which I think is completely outrageous. The busses and shuttles only for during limited times to although you can get a shuttle into a park or whoever you have to go, you’re limited on time unless you decide to Uber back or walk back, which they claim is a 20 minute walk and it’s actually almost 2 hours because we did it. When we got up to the room we immediately found out the toilet didn’t work and multiple calls to the desk didn’t resolve it so we ended up HAVING TO FIX IT OURSELVES. I came to be one vacation not repair your facility. The room was very plain with very limited space. The fridge is more like a freezer because everything we put in it froze. The hotel in fact does both offer breakfast even though it was one of the things listed when we booked. The regular wifi is trash and the high speed is 4 dollars a day. The place is a total money grab. Not worth the money they charge at all. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Revised review: Pros: - Conveniently located near Universal Studios, within walking distance - Option to reserve transportation at the Universal desk for drop-off at the Studios - Comfortable stay on the 3rd floor, did not experience slow elevators - Enjoyed both the elevator and stairs for getting around - Pleasant pool area. Cons: - Lack of kitchen amenities, such as a toaster and a kettle - Resolved the issue by buying a kettle at Walmart. kids wanted to be able to have Mr. Noodles, and oatmeal - Freezer in the mini fridge was not functional. I was a bit annoyed about that as I bought freezies. But not end of the world. Overall, the stay was convenient and enjoyable, with minor inconveniences that were easily resolved.

Property is very nice, the front desk agent at checking was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. In the morning I was just looking for a humble cup of coffee and not pretentious Starbucks (this property has one on site) and Nestor Acosta went out of his way to get me that simple cup of coffee that was so welcome in the AM! Also you can park your car at the hotel (for a cheaper fee rather than at Universal) and literally walk to the parks. Definitely I will be back to this hotel. 10/10 :)
