Only stayed here because of the location as it’s close close to the Disney parks and had good amenities. As much as we enjoy the surrounding area, we will not be back at this establishment. When we went to our room, my wife noticed black spots, that looked like mold in the shower on the ceiling. She also noticed that the blanket was obviously not changed from the last guest as there was spots and stains all over it. The carpet was not vacuumed or cleaned. And there was a hair brush left from the previous guest behind a chair. The door wasn’t able to close properly, and we could see day light coming from the bottom. Overall, the room was dirty and looked like the walls or corners were never deep cleaned. 3 days before checking out, my wife noticed a cockroach walking near the tv. She also found a second one by the door. We were switched rooms, but the receptionist did not seem surprised when my wife told them she found cockroach’s. No apology was offered when she told them we found cockroaches. All they offered was to change rooms, which was literally next door. We only had a few days left, and agreed to moving as we didn’t have the energy to find a new hotel. We moved to the new room, and we noticed more black spots on the roof that looked like black mold. And the door didn’t close well. The room was dirty. House keeping only came once during our 2 week stay. We had to request towels, and toilet paper as house keeping only came once. We will not be coming back.

The reason I only gave them 1 star is because they are infested with cockroaches I complained but it seems to me that they are aware and also because someone was robbed by the maid during the weekend I was there and they did nothing.

Overall this hotel was great for us because of the short distance to Disney parks. The room was descent and had plenty of charging and usb outlets. The breakfast was ok but better than what most hotels provide for free.

Nice area that felt safe. Huge breakfast area (please get peanut butter and cream cheese). Staff were friendly. The pool is small but it was clean and there were plenty of chairs (it wasn’t busy). Incidentally, this is a motel, not a hotel. It’s not fancy, but the rooms were updated and clean. I would stay again. Eat at Sickie’s Garage down the road!

The property breakfast and staff was great. The issues were cleanliness and quality of the building. We found 3 cockroaches within our 1 week stay even after the cleaning staff serviced the room. We also noticed that there were stains on the pillows and towels that were supposed to be clean already. We even saw a stain that looked like dried blood which is a health hazard. You can tell the building is quite old especially the elevator. The room and towels also have a musky smell which was very odd.

The property itself was fine, breakfast is great and staff is friendly. The only issues really is the cleanliness and condition of the building. We found 3 cockroaches throughout our 1 week stay and we would notice the room in general was still a bit dirty after the cleaning staff serviced the room. We noticed the towels and pillows had stains even some stains like if it was dried blood which is a health hazard in itself. In terms of the condition of the building, you can tel it is old, especially the elevator.

I found a roach in the bathroom in the middle of the night one evening. I alerted staff who did offer me to switch rooms; however, this was inconvenient considering it was the middle of the night. I was informed housekeeping would clean the room. Two days later there was a roach in the sink in the morning. The room was dark and appeared to have staining on the ceiling. The comforter had some light stains. The carpet looked as though it has never been scrubbed. The smoke detector was missing from the room. It was also noisy in the mornings as you could hear people rolling their suitcases by outside. It was advertised as "by the lake", I suppose a retaining pond counts as a lake nowadays. Continental breakfast was included but the space was crowded. Convenient location around Walt Disney World.
