"First let me clarify that this was my first stay at Veranda Cottages and I did love the resort. The friendly staff, beach access, the large swimming pool area and the nightly activities were very nice. However, at this price point, I expected more. Here are some of the issues we faced during our stay: 1) The Wi-Fi password was not listed anywhere. Numerous calls and emails requesting the password went unanswered. "We spent 5 nights at La Marina. The views from the deck and dock are mesmerizing. We spent most of the time just taking it all in and fishing. Together we caught 41 but only kept 1. There are alot of ringtail perch and bass. Theres some big ones too. We caught a 3 pound bass. They like nightcrawlers with a bit of liquid krill.The home is very comfortable and is well appointed.
