"Just had a wonderful stay at The Otterburn Castle Country House Hotel. Lovely grounds and despite it only being 9th Feb the woodlands and grounds were overed in snowdrops indicating Spring is not far away. At this time of year we stayed ahead of season and there were not too many people here. There is a small bar area and a lovely old world lounge where we sat before and after our evening meal with a few glasses of wine in front of a log fire. "5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"
