"Mike and his staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. This is a beautiful property and very well run. One of the best B & B’s we’ve stayed in. Thank you Mike. "
"Please add everything we need including a washer dryer, which was awesome because we are on a long road trip. Beautiful property and building very spacious, three bedrooms was super nice.
We would stay here again if we were in the area."

Mountain View Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"We had an incredible experience at the Mountain View Guest House!
Patricia was extremely kind and accomodating. We arrived late asking to look ariund the area, and she actually drove us to the castle nearby to arrive there before closing. As well, we had an early morning tour and Patricia went out of her way to make us an early breakfast. She was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her B&B to anyone."
"The property was beautiful and exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the house and the town. Thank you for providing amazing accomodations. I would highly recommend a stay here."
Cosy mountain barn conversion surrounded by lakes, forests and coastline
10/10 Excellent
"This was a wonderful little getaway! Rory was super communicative and sent a wonderful list of things to do nearby! We checked out the pub he recommended Powers and it was phenomenal! The little barn was so cute and we felt right at home immediately. "
"House is in the perfect location, plenty of household things you need for cooking etc. Lovely owners with a gorgeous grandson who our boys enjoyed playing with. So much for the kids to do."
Historic Georgian Country House with Private Garden & Riverside Charm
6/10 Okay
"We planned for over a year for our family trip to Ireland, 9 of us (4 grandchildren) a special vacation, and we reserved the house for 5 nights. Upon arrival, the house exterior presents poorly; appears poorly maintained from the outside, lowering expectations for the inside. However, the entire grounds are impressively maintained and landscaped, the grandchildren enjoyed playing on the private well-protected grounds. Mary the housekeeper works hard to keep the house clean. She is a real asset to the house and the owner. The location is a short walk to the town for restaurants & pubs. It is well located for touring parts of western Ireland, especially Galway and Connemara. The bus stop is convenient to the house and an easy ride to Galway City. The house smells musty and moldy, especially in the living and dining rooms.
We had issues with 2 of the 3 toilets. The house needs maintenance and reinvestment.
Our stay did not meet our expectations and could have been better.
Require coins to pay for the electricity. Very frustrating!
One of the three bathrooms functions well. One had flushing issues, and one had a seat that would not stay up for men. The kitchen is well equipped; however, the coffee maker doesn’t work (kept overflowing). Overall, if you are handy and can adjust expectations, the house works OK for a large family with plenty of beds and bedrooms. However, we would not recommend it to anyone who has allergies or breathing issues.
