The hotel is centrally located to the main areas of the city centre and most places of interest are within walking distance. Staff are attentive and pleasant. Hotel is quirky in the fact it is a former prison but the rooms are spacious and clean.

What a great hotel, I booked this as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint. It’s such a unique hotel in a great setting, the way the hotel has kept the features of the prison whilst making it a luxury hotel is brilliant. We stayed in the main prison part of the hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had dinner at the restaurant as well and the food was lovely. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Great location for shopping and to explore beautiful Oxford.

The sound proof of the room isn’t ideal. Can hear people outside the door in and out. The cleanliness of the room can be improved. The location is wonderful to bus and train stations. Love the convenience. It’s also a unique experience staying at an old prison
