"We had the most lovely stay at Royal Lancaster. A family of three, we had a great corner room that was very comfortable, both the main bed (especially) and even the twin- which usually these are not so comfortable. Everything was immaculate and the rooms were very convenient in closet and drawer/wardrobe space. Residential area which is nice and quiet , right across from Hyde Park. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, recommend to try it. It has many nice options, both healthy and indulgent. Doreen, the manager, is absolutely amazing. She is so warm and pleasant, and made our stay absolutely perfect. They gave us a nice welcome birthday amenity (mini cake) and fruit and had our room ready as quickly as possible. Everyone is lovely and the property is modern (bathroom is a bit smaller but nice) and clean, and overall just wonderful. The automatic day and night shades also helped for these long summer days. I would highly recommend it for all ages. It is not in the middle of the bustling areas which we liked. But, you can still walk to things (probably about 20-25 min to Marble Arch etc) and take a taxi. 5 stars! "

"What a find! Comfortable room. Good AC. Small mini fridge keeps things cool plus many provided items. Bed is clean and perfect for sleeping. The room itself is beautiful with exposed ceilings and tasteful decor. I have zero complaints."

"Super friendly staff and easy check in. I would say this hotel is probably not ideal for those who have issues with stairs. I’ve seen reviews that say the rooms are small which is true, but this is to be expected in these heritage buildings. They are clean, comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Thanks to Mehdi!"

"Hotel us in an excellent location for exploring London as only a few minutes walk away from a tube station. Staff are friendly and helpful and always available. Our room was slightly dated but spotless and more than adequate for our stay. The air con was a welcome bonus! Breakfast was plentiful, hot and very tasty. This was my first visit to London but I'll definitely be back and will book here again, great value for money. Also such a bonus being directly opposite Hyde Park, lovely for a stroll in the evening. "
