"Great location for walking around Galway. The biggest negative was there was no where to pull up and check in temporarily. Parking was a bit of a walk and with luggage it was a challenge. They should probably state that as we were driving around in circles on exactly where to park. We were actually given the wrong coordinates to a parking lot when we called. "We checked into our rooms. The two of us have stayed at the Leonardo many times on our Visits to Galway. This time we booked and brought in two American friends to visit and tour Galway. Without knowing we were given an “executive” room, which was nice. Had we known, we would have given it to our friends. Our friends compared our room to theirs and felt they were slighted, we had water, snacks, bathrobes, a bigger room and a sitting table, in short a nicer room! They returned to the front deck...

"It was a last minute decision to stay but the staff at reception (Caitriona) was excellent. So friendly , humorous and very efficient. She's a keeper!
