There were only two glitches - the fenced yard was fenced with wire that was larger in format than hog wire- so my 7 pound dog could walk right through it 😬. The other was more our fault - we didn’t know how to operate the thermostats, and the temperature dropped pretty quickly. However, the owner and his daughter responded immediately to get us warmed up. Otherwise, we were very pleased, and would recommend it to anyone...

"We enjoyed the cute, clean, and roomy cottage. Beds were so comfortable, and furnishings were perfect. The cottage is large, and bedrooms on opposite sides of the house, make for lots of personal space. Nice fenced yard, with both yard, and front porch sitting areas. The train sound lulled me to sleep, after the whistle finished its 3 toots. We recommend the cottage."

"This was a wonderful property and we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Circuit of the Americas and it is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The property manager was wonderful to work with- he met us at the house and gave us a tour and showed us how to use the pool and elevator. The houses are well equipped with everything that we needed and very clean. It was a great choice for our group of friends."

"Five days for Thanksgiving we had fires sitting around the fire! Fishing on the river, surrounded by trees and woodpeckers a few deer, but the best was a fully fenced in huge yard, and they welcomed my fur babies! Five minutes from downtown Bastrop easy access to Bucky’s on an adventure in walking the strip into the cute little shops! The windows in the bedrooms are magnificent with a view of the river and the sun coming through! "

"Our stay at the Zen Country Retreat was perfect! The house was super clean, had every amenity you'd need for your stay (including great support for kids), and was super comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, I was truly shocked by how quiet and peaceful it was out there. No traffic noise, no rowdy neighbors, it was all very peaceful. We also LOVED the s'mores ingredients; my kids had a blast making them, and it was a very nice, homey touch!"

"Great. Will for sure stay there again. Close to town. We walked to the Christmas parade. A bunch of extras (coffee, tea, sugar, mini sodas in the fridge among many other extras. Plenty of space. The host was awesome. Any questions we had were answered very timely. Can't wait to go back."

"This is our second trip to the tree houses. It's so beautiful. They have everything you need. I will say the last time we stayed, the Hobbit Treehouse was super cute and quirky. I loved it. This time, it was more professional. It was still very nice, but I enjoyed the quirky, cute decor last time better. Everything was super clean. We had a little trouble with the propane, but that was no big deal. The bathroom in the elf treehouse is down the stairs which is a little tough on the old people...
